The new Siemens Vectron generation is suitable for both passenger and freight transportation. In both domestic and cross-border service, these locomotives can run at top speeds of 160 km/h or even 200 km/h.
The various power classes and voltage systems provide the basis for flexible and demand-oriented locomotive configuration. Country-specific train control systems can be conveniently replaced or complemented.
